Why does GOD choose some people, what makes them different?

Is it about the choice of GOD or Is it something that the chosen person has?

What quickens the heart of GOD?

The Bible speaks volumes of mysteries and conceals depth beneath the creamy layer. But there is this intriguing part made known only to those who seek GOD out of their comfort and convenience.

GOD is always looking for a vessel, somebody who could let GOD take over and be “GOD” and not him. The hunger, passion and burden is what makes the difference from the ordinary to the extra-ordinary. People with burden never rested until they get to it. Why do only few people have these? Because they are the people who choose to follow, obey the LORD closely, sensitive to the Spirit of GOD and have a constant relationship with the father to the extent that being close to the burning bush for long would give enough of heat to catch up the flame. It would trigger  zeal so much that you could be consumed in it( John 2:17). They were  close to it for long; may it be months or years but they waited until they caught the fire. They were in the hands of the potter until the potter is done with molding & finishing.

What’s wrong with this generation? we don’t stay close and long to the burning bush, and keep wondering why we are yet powerless.

Stay Close to GOD . When the temperature reaches the burning point; You will catch up the flame.

It looks like we are in a season of spark, the atmosphere looks scary, blur, It is a term we are all scared of Well, here it is – “TERMINATION/FIRING”.

Let me ask you a question. What are we afraid of? Our future? Our state? Our condition? Where is our faith?

We aren’t believing on the promises of GOD for those who put their trust and walk faithfully with HIM.

I’m shocked at the state of our believers by their wavering faith on the storms & situations around.

My Father in Heaven would expect us to walk fearless amidst the storm. If our faith is wavering then we are having our heart in something else and not in the LORD our GOD!

Let me tell you something, GOD will allow us all to go through phases like this to test the true test of faith on our so long walk with Christ. If we start trembling then all that we have known about GOD is in vain!

We aren’t trusting GOD enough above and out of our situations.

 STAND UP & STAND STRONG!!!!

We are very afraid of a short term on bench and struggle with many prayer requests raised, do we even realize that it has been very long that we are spiritually dry and Jobless? Spiritually on bench for decades and ages and yet it goes without recognizing and we are all ok with it. We are not even bothered about it. How many of us can cross our hearts and say yes, I’m working for the kingdom of GOD because that is what GOD has called us primarily, To Seek HIS kingdom first and HIS righteousness ( Mat 6:33 ). Yes, have we not lost this mission?  The passion? We are faithful to the official stuffs but a drastic failure towards the kingdom of GOD.

It is time we recognize our passiveness and our state of jobless in the Kingdom of GOD & cry out to GOD to empower us with HIS Holy Spirit, Zeal and passion to be consumed wholly!!!

For the Rest, GOD will take care. He has promised and HE will never fail it!!!

There are always two kinds of major believers out of many; One in the boat and one tending to walk out into the waters.

Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29. And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.…Mat 14: 28-29

My Mind paced back and forth as I read this verse; now why did Jesus has to come in this scary appearance “walking on the water like a ghost” , The Bible records they were scared. Their hearts were troubled. Did you ever pause and give a moment on why did Jesus come walking on water?

Jesus when He started to write the history of Life for mankind, He choose 12 pillars to equip them powerfully, to pass the mantle., they were now a channel of Heaven’s flow, they were the fire house of the entire world that needed light and life. Jesus was to bring a transformational change from physical to spiritual, the WORD He spoke came out with power & a blast of higher manifestation with signs & wonders.

“For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power”. – 1 Corin 4:20

Now, most of the time of their 3 years journey, they saw greater manifestations but still they are not into supernatural. They saw yet they couldn’t accept. Jesus was giving them a live demonstration of impossibilities that could be done in the physical. After seeing such massive miracles still the disciples were yet not prepared for the supernatural.

When the disciples saw Jesus Coming before them, Walking on water, they couldn’t believe their eyes. But Peter, the Bible writes; caught the sight very differently, He was a step ahead of all the disciples in the boat. They were happy with what they have seen till then. The Miracles , signs, wonders. But they weren’t ready for one. But however, Peter stood unique, he was ready for the Move. He had seen enough and now he is ready to get into it. To experience it.

Here is the point, Most Christians have seen and heard but never walked into it. They form a category of Christians. I call them the “BOAT Believers”, they are comfortable sitting and watching but never dare to do the impossible. But the others I call them

“ WALKING BELIEVERS”.

GOD has called us to walk on waters, to do the impossible, If you would know your GOD intimately, you would say like peter said “LORD, If it is YOU, Command me to come to you on the water”

You would do greater things than Jesus did ( John 14:12 )

Let us be that walking Christian than sitting Christians, Sometimes we need a raging storm and a scary appearance to stir us out of our boats 

Saul & David were the forerunners, Both were the Chosen ones over Israel. When GOD chose Saul, HE didn’t make a mistake. But what made David stand unique?

Saul was becoming a man after people’s own heart, but David travelled into the heart of GOD. GOD’s own nature rubbed upon David. He was becoming a man after GOD’s own heart.

Saul sought people’s favour, David sought God’s favour.

Saul pleased men, David Pleased GOD.

Saul enquired people, David enquired of GOD.

Saul depended on Samuel’s Words & directions, David learnt the art of going into the presence of GOD.

Saul depended, David repented.

Saul fell into the hands of men, David fell into the hands of GOD

Saul was sensitive towards the needs of people, David was sensitive towards the heart of GOD.

Saul was moving away from the LORD, David was moving towards GOD’s Heart.

Saul died among the people in the battlefield, David died in the presence of GOD & rested among the saints.

Saul missed the purpose, David fulfilled GOD’s purpose for his generation.

Today, we are all chosen by GOD, but what matters is what we chose, and how we chose to walk. David always sought after GOD and understood the heart of GOD.

A man who understands the heart of GOD, always know to please GOD. He will find himself closer to GOD and GOD delights in such men. There is nothing more delightful to GOD than that!!

We live in a world of worries that erupt in smoke which surrounds us. A Christian most often is so felt and left behind with the worries so heavy attached that they find themselves lose upon them completely.

We try running away from it but end up getting caught into it no matter what!

Let’s see a similar situation from the Bible.

Let’s read the below passage:

22. One day Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us cross to the other side of the lake.” So He got into a boat with them and set out.

23. As they sailed, He fell asleep, and a squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

24. The disciples went and woke Him saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm.

25. “Where is your faith?” He asked. Frightened and amazed, they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!”

26. They sailed to the region of the Gerasenes, across the lake from Galilee.

Here is a scenario where the Disciples along with Jesus were crossing to the other side of the lake. Little did they know or expect that they would have to face storm ahead. We all have been taught that GOD would take us through the other route but not that HE would take us through the rough roads. Christian walk is all on a hard rock, huge storm, dry lands, bloomy wilderness, and high mountains. It is HERE where we find what our GOD is; it is here where GOD is revealed; it is here where GOD’s capability takes in and our ability surrenders.

“It is the time where we CAN’T and GOD WILL. It is GOD’s TURN and our HALT. It is GOD’s PLAY and our WATCH. It is GOD’s PACE in our RACE. It is GOD’s MOVE and our GROOVE. It is GOD’s FLOOR and our ROAR. It is GOD’s FIGHT and our VICTORY”

A squall came down on the lake and the boat was being swamped, they were in great danger. They were worried and on a toss. We would have Jesus in our hearts and yet get perplexed. Yet get anxious, curious, worried, painful, and fearful. Uncertain of what is going to happen. Chaos of the situation that is running out of our reach; fighting hard but losing bit by bit to the conquering problem. Doing your best but yet find yourself drowning the more. The plague is spreading like a wild fire. Perplexed and worn out!!

The Disciples then remembered that they had a person with them who turned things upside down. But HE was found sleeping peacefully, like a baby. So calm and sureness. I wonder what kind of Jesus we serve, in all the great huge storm, He knew what HE is and the storm held nothing to HIM. HE woke up not because of the storm but because He had to reveal HIMSELF to HIS children and show them their identity with HIM. After all, GOD created the storm

Here comes the Creator, to whom the heavens tremble, the mountains bow down, the ice melts, the sun hides itself, the oceans roar, the earth is HIS footstool and the heavens HIS throne. The creation is all loud applauding on the saviors turn, the lights turning now on the Anointed one, the thunder strikes the clouds in joy of the blessed savior’s stand. Oh what words can the creation hold? What moment can the earth await than to see the creator’s turn for HIS Manifest Power & Glory! The seas, the clouds, the sky, and the heaven is for the moment frozen in awe and anticipation. The Silence that broke before and the after is more than a loud noise ever made. The raging storm now bows even before the show could began. The heavens awaited for this moment of GOD’s turn. I wonder how dumb & blind we are knowing not the GOD we serve, HIS power, Majesty and Glory in all HIS wonders is more than words can describe.

When the creation had its privilege of watching GOD command and the little storm in its horror & trembling concede. The disciples now realizes in amaze and wonder flying this thought in their mind – What kind of man do we hold in our boat!!

Folks, do you even realize what kind of GOD do you have in your heart with you? Oh How I pray that the revelation of GOD in HIS glory be given to us. Oh When I see HIM enthroned above everything on earth and heaven, the plight of heavens bowing down would chill me to the bones. How we need our eyes open, O LORD be pleased to show us thyself. Reveal thyself to us! That we may know you in all your greatness!!! The Worry is far beyond and that very revelation of GOD has turned the tables around!!

The GOD of heaven and earth holds our future, the very revelation of HIS sovereignty cripples all our fears and worries and triggers us the faith unwavering and life that shines brighter ever and forever!!

HIS Voice Echoes even now – BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I’AM GOD!!

There is something so powerful and amazing about the presences of God.

The creation started with “The spirit of God was howling over the seas”.

The Lord came down and in His presence made man in His image. The Earth and all that is in it is made in His presence. His presence gave life and brought each work into fullness. His presence incubated nothing and brought everything out of it. In His presence there is fullness and completion. In His presence, the angels and all heavenly hosts still exists new and fresh and each time they sing holy , holy, holy for generations, it felt new and powerful. His presence carried the life and that was the light of men. In His presence is the fullness of Joy. In His presence dwelt a man who later turned to be a man after God’s own heart; He chose the presence of God and he soon became the apple of God’s own eye. In His presence things turned upside down. In His presence when strength failed, power took up.

In His presence is been given eternal life and power.

In His presence alone we will become what HE has destined us to. It is only in His presence a real transformation and conversion happens. His presence carries the gentle touch of Jesus. The walk, talk, the memories, the slow whisper, the love of God – all felt – in His presence. HIS presence is the connecting media to the supernatural power of God. In His presence John fell flat on His face. In His presence the high priests and kings fell face down. In His presence the enemy is paralyzed, confused and powerless.

Oh, How we lack His presence in our daily lives? David said My Soul and my heart longeth for your presence day and night. When I’m afraid I run to your presence. When I’ve sinned I simply run to your presence. When I’m confused, down, hurt and gone , I manage to crawl and reach into your presence. Oh that gentle touch and your presence is all that can fill this empty heart. It is more than enough. I would dwell in your house all the days of my life. Your presence makes me whole.

Want to enjoy every bit of your presence Lord. Not a moment pass by, a minute gone without your presence. Let me be completely dawned and saturated in your presence.

Come Lord, fill us right now, we can’t wait any longer!!!

It is in your Presence where I belong!!!
